Greedy Dog

Here are some illustrations done for the aesop fable 'the greedy dog' , we tried out many versions and styles for these, my favorite is version 01

version 01

the feedback I got was that the Dog was too foxy looking (this was meant to be a Indian stray Dog),  the colours were too flat. So here is a more 'disneque' version  of the same.

version 02

Weightloss and other misadvenures

Hello peeps, I have been doing a small side project, making a series of mini comics. Last year after the birth of my son, and gaining over 20 kilos (yes) I joined the gym and since loosing weight took over my mind, body and time (not to mentions tears and sweat) I decided to have some fun and document my experience.  check out more on the series on my Facebook page here

My grandma aged 18

My grand father aged 33

 The Kitchen
My grandmother cooking for her very large family, The food was usually vegetarian, simple and piping hot, since my grandfather was a vegetarian and could not stand spice, quite opposite to my grandmother who would eat her rice with fiery chilies and loved meat. My grandfather was always served at the table, but my grandmother always preferred the floor.

The Backyard
This is the backyard of the house, Still figuring out the style and treatment for a very rough idea of a book based on the life of my grandparents
