The Kitchen
My grandmother cooking for her very large family,
The food was usually vegetarian, simple and piping hot, since my
grandfather was a vegetarian and could not stand spice, quite opposite
to my grandmother who would eat her rice with fiery chilies and loved
meat. My grandfather was always served at the table, but my grandmother always preferred the floor.
